Delicious lil spot on the beach. The lady was super sweet and suggestive. The BBQ sticks were good. Chicken and pork were my fav. We tried an assortment of the spring rolls. They were good as well. Tiny lil guys though. We will b comin back for sure.

This little tucked away hole in the wall is a gem! You walk up and place your order. Amazing Pancit(its small, get a double order), very good bbq meat on a stick and some fantastic crisp Lumpia w a great dipping sauce. Some other great items too along w burgers. They also have alot of Filipino desserts, even Halo-Halo.

My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Atlantic Beach over a year ago. This is our very favorite spot to come get a quick bite to eat and enjoy beach breeze. The barbecue on a stick is incredible - I recommend the pork. Ask her to put some hot sauce on while she cooks it - great! Also, the lumpia are MUST! Little pork spring rolls with a sweet and tangy sauce. We always top it off with the banana lumpia for dessert. Highly recommend. If you become a regular, she will toss you free food all the time.

I just went there after seeing the halo halo dessert on my friend's facebook page and I was not disappointed! We had the beef and pork sticks, the steamed pork buns and the lumpia. Everything was absolutely delicious. My son and his friend wanted more! If your in Neptune Beach, you have to check our this place. Great tasting, inexpensive Filipino food. Two thumbs up!

I love this little spot by the beach! I happen to stumble upon it while leaving the Lemon Bar. I had a beef and chicken stick. Both were excellent! I will return to try more items!

I have literally driven to the beach after a chicken on a stick and pancit craving. This place is awesome and I love that it seems to be family owned.

Yummmmm. Tried this place 6 months ago and liked it. Tried tonight and yum. Nice place to chill outside. Going to come back soon.

The lumpia was average--would be good after hitting Pete's or the Lemon Bar. They were a bit too much crispy crust and too light on the filling. As for the BBQ sticks, the pork was fatty, but the chicken was what saved this place from being 2 stars--really tasty. Stick with the chicken sticks!

I am half Filipina so I grew up eating my mom's recipes from home and I'm an absolute food snob when it comes to Asian and especially Filipino cooking. Some friends(who also know the joy that is my mom's Filipino cooking) and I had just finished dinner at MShack when we happened upon this place. I was really happy to see a place offering Filipino food since there's really not very many places to get it around here. Since we were already full we decided to get a couple things to try at home. I ordered adobo, pancit, and rice. 3 basic staples a Filipino cook would know how to make. My friend ordered a BBQ stick to try since that's the name and we got a few pieces of lumpia. I'll talk about the food in a second but let me first talk about the location. This is a perfect spot for a food shack like this. Kinda hidden away but not hard to find. Anyone who hangs out at the Lemon bar or eats at Tama Sushi or Mezza Luna has seen this place. You order at the window and can either eat there on the outdoor patio area or get it to go. It's a pleasant beachy and relaxed setting to eat with wooden tables. Very laid back. I would have liked to see an emphasis on the actual authentic names instead of putting the American word and then the authentic name in parenthesis on the menu but that's not a big deal. So like I said we ordered: Adobo: if you're not familiar with Filipino adobo, it's a stewed/boiled meat dish with a sauce made with a mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper corns and bay leaf, there are other variations of this but this is what I grew up eating. I didn't know what kind it would end up to be as the guy in the window didn't say. I was hoping it would be chicken but it was pork. This was no biggie. All I can say about it is that it was ok/good not great. It seemed a little on the dry side and there was a little too much garlic for me. But not bad. Rice: I mean what can I say, you can't mess up rice. I have nothing bad to say about the rice we got. It was a real California short grain rice not the Uncle Ben's crap lots of places try to pass off as good rice. But, ya know, it's rice. Pancit: this a noodles dish made with vegetables and sometimes a sliced meat. I've only ever seen this made with rice noodles or lo mein noodles and I prefer the rice noodles. The pancit I had from here were lo mein and it was also ok not great. It really didn't seem to be made with much else besides the noodles and soy sauce. There was no meat which is ok but there weren't any vegetables in it like I'm used to. Lumpia: Filipino egg roll. Also ok. Not great. I hate to say it but my bff's mom Mimi(at Mimi's Sport's Grill) has better lumpia. This was ok though. If I were in the mood for lumpia and was too lazy to make it myself maybe I would get it here but only if Mimi's was closed and that makes me sad to say. BBQ Stick: The one we got was chicken and this was good. I think this was the best item we got. If I came back I would get this with some rice for a good snack. I REALLY REALLY wanted to give this place a better review as I love Filipino food and happy to see some dishes being offered here in Jax from my mother's homeland but if I'm being honest I can only say this place is ok/good but not wonderful. Would I eat here again? Probably. If I get really desperate for some Filipino food, was too lazy to cook it myself and my mom was out of town, yes I would and I would be happy to eat it. But as far as the lumpia I know I can get better at Mimi's. It's clean and seems fresh but I'm used to better. Sorry. I say to anyone who's never tried Filipino food or wants a quick snack to go ahead and try this place but I didn't love it as much as I wanted to.

This is a hidden gem! I have been going here for about five years now and they never disappoint. The Pork Steam buns are ON POINT. Empanadas, great spring rolls and BBQ sticks of course. Deliciously authentic Asian street food with great prices and friendly service. It is run by a family that makes everything homemade. It's outside seating and walk-up service window, so don't come thinking it's a sit-down venue.

This is as close to BBQ on TriCycle that you'd get back in the Archipelago, the only thing missing was the vinegar-based dip. The food is served out of a small hut with opening; the nice lady and probably her son working in tandem to satisfy the hungry beach-goers. The Chicken BBQ was good but you can skip the pork one, it was fatty and flavorless, nonetheless, it is not bad for 1.50/stick. BBQ is buy 6 and get one free. I also tried the pancit, it was not that good. The basic hotdog I tried was not even close to the one you'd get in 7-Eleven. I will try the combo meals the next time I'm there. BTW, there is a loo, if you need to use it. There are different combo meals that is available for less than 5 bucks and 3 empanadas for 2.99. If you really want some fast, casual eat while in Atlantic beach, this place does provide good small items that you can mix and match and feel really satisfied for less than 10 bucks.

If you want another hole in the wall type place to share with friends and avoid the crowds, this is it. You'll definitely like the prices. Little hidden go-to spot in Neptune Beach right around the corner from Lemon Bar and across from the Seahorse Inn. If the weather is nice and you're at the beach (or coming out of happy hour from Lemon) swing around to the ordering window for a chance to try something from their extensive (for a snack Shack) and Asian-inspired menu. Adventurous eaters, this is your time to shine: try the lumpia (little pork spring rolls), the siopao pork stream buns (YUM, perfect mix of savory from the filling with the sweetness of the bun) and the chicken BBQ on a stick. The shave ice cups are pretty good, and the banana lumpia does not disappoint. Great place to grab a snack and enjoy the nice weather out on the dining deck.

I have tried some of the best Filipino bbq so my review is solely for the bbq. The secret to a good bbq is the marinade. I am almost certain that they do not marinate the meat as it tasted really bland, if not for the glaze, it would have been tasteless. For $1.50, I can't complain. Combo meals are pretty reasonable too. I like the colorful outdoor seating.

After reading the reviews we had to try it. We're glad we did. We actually went twice in the week that we were there. We got the bbq sticks and some lumpia. They were delicious and the price was right. My wife, daughter and I all got full for less than $15. The two people behind the counter were both very nice. Really cool looking place a hundred yards from the beach. If you're at Neptune Beach you have to stop by and get you some meat on a stick and some lumpia, you'll be happy you did.

The BBQ sticks were not that impressive, but I was quite the fan of the lumpia. This is a great place to come for a quick cheap snack or lunch. I'd go back for more lumpia if in the area again and to try some other stuff, they actually had quite a large menu for such a small place!

BBQ sticks are excellent and the calamari is good too as with chicken egg rolls and turon All cooked to love The wait is quick if you go early and I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to eat healthy

Great place to stop in when you need a snack after a long beach or drinking day. The lumpia has a good flavor and they are small and bite-sized. The skewers are really good, but I definitely prefer the chicken or beef. The pork skewer is so fatty and rich. I've had a sour stomach a couple times after eating here because of all the rich and greasy food. It's a better place to come to get a snack, not a full on meal.

Great flavor of the pork and steak BBQ sticks. The chicken is good too. ABs best kept secret. The guy who I always see running it is very polite and incredibly friendly. One of my favorite places to eat.
